Enjoyed every moment in the hotel. Located in the middle of nowhere, but not far from Sydney airport, and has free parking, which is super convenient for travelers, doing Blue mountains, who do not want to overnight in Sydney. Enjoyed the breakfast

Beautiful hotel which was easy to find from the airport rail link and centrally located for all main attractions centred around the harbour. Staff were very helpful and friendly answering any questions we had and gave us a handy map to navigate around the city with rail, tram and bus details plus lots of attractions to visit. Our heritage room was even better than the photos and was vast, with everything we needed for a luxurious stay!

Great location but a bit pricey for the hotel. Not quite certain it qualifies to be a five star hotel as I have stayed in many hotels across Asia and Middle East.
Breakfast buffet was not up-to scratch to my standards. Omelette order is taken privately by the waiter rather than seeing your omelette jn action. Pastry variety was okay. There was no official coffee station as order is taken on arrival.
Good this was children under 12 are free.

We chose this hotel for its location. Just step outside and you can hop on a tram to head down to Circular Quay or up towards Broadway. Great view from room too.
The hotel was very clean; the foyer, the elevators, the hallways and the room.
The extra bed for our teenager was very uncomfortable and certainly not worth the quoted $110 per night. We had to ask for extra towels/cup/glassware as there were three of us in the room.
The main bed was comfortable but one of the legs/wheels was broken.
The main television in the room did not work at all for the first 24 hours of our stay due to a ”global network failure”. It was only after this was fixed that we were able to discover the amenities/facilities offered by the hotel.
Complimentary water bottles were only replenished once in a three-night stay, and used glasses were not always replaced/washed by housekeeping.
The staff were pleasant enough but I expected a better overall experience staying at Hilton Sydney.

The first day was almost spoiled by a giant roach that decided our room belonged to him.
However the staff, particularly at the concierge/bellhop area were consistently great and they were very helpful and friendly.
The hotel's corridors were really showing their age with the peeling wallpaper, but the rooms themselves were fine.
Oh and the roach? We rang reception and they immediately changed our rooms!
I had a fantastic stay at Bannisters by the sea. It is probably the best option in the area. Restaurant by Rickstein offers freshly made Australian cuisine. Cocktails are delicious too.

Location was perfect, room is very spacious with a proper work table. The only downside was the flight of stairs at the entrance which is not friendly for heavy luggage. While the staff will lend a hand, still good to have flat ground.

I chose this hotel because it had no negative reviews. It was really great. The hotel's front desk service, room facilities and hygiene were impeccable. The hotel's location is also very good. It's close to Darling Harbour and there are many buses and ferries nearby. The lobby downstairs is also very big. It's very convenient to eat and shop downstairs. I stayed for a total of five nights. I am grateful for the care of the hotel staff and the patient help of the friendly Chinese front desk staff.

My first review on Trip and I don't usually bother to write reviews - shows you how much the hotel impressed me. We stayed for 1 night in Capella Sydney as a family of 3.
The hotel facilities were absolutely amazing, decor was gorgeous and food options at Aperture and Brasserie were awesome. However, I won't dwell on these too much as I'm sure when you booked into a Capella brand hotel, you will already assume this as a given right? One highlight in terms of facilities though, was The Living Room, which is assessible to all guests staying in the hotel. It had beverages, snacks, comfy sofas and 6 star service. We spent so much time there chilling with our son and in the end it really became ”our living room”.
Enough of that, let me move on to the service which blew our minds. I'll give you a few examples and hopefully you can see why I feel it would be criminal for me not to write a review.
1. On arrival when we got out of our car and the porters were helping us with our luggage, somehow they addressed me by name. Maybe it's because they saw I had a 2 year old and I was the only guest checking in that day with a small child. Still, I was super impressed. I've only experienced this previously at Aman hotels.
2. Upon checking in, Sophie (I hope I got your name right!) was super helpful and cheerful. When she saw my young son, she also proactively asked if we needed a later check out and if our son needed to nap. She immediately offered to give us 2pm late check out. However, having told her our son actually takes his nap at 2pm, she told us to come back and check with the front desk the next day and they can extend it till 4pm. Remember, I didn't request this, she did this completely out of her own initiative.
3. We didn't book dinner and Sophie referred us to Madiha of the Cultural team. Madiha took note of all our requirements, including the need for the restaurant to be 2 year old friendly, and within 15 mins emailed me a full list of restaurants and their menus for me to choose from while she also served us drinks and snacks at the living room. We eventually picked an Italian restaurant and she made the reservation for us. Fyi, it was scrumptious.
4. After breakfast, we were walking around the lobby and my son walked past the cakeshop and saw a raspberry tart. He really wanted it but I told him we just had breakfast. Ton (?)(I hope I got your name right, the Thai gentleman with a love for cars), the manager came up and said ”you can have the tart for free! It's on the house!”. I was stunned. He also spent so much time talking to my son and showing him pictures of cars, unbelievable.
Shout out also to Matthew (uncle Hao Jun) for being so warm and hospitable to us. Honestly we were feeling so sad leaving the hotel as everyone felt like friends and family to us. One thing is for sure though, we will be back. Absolutely flawless service, kudos to the Capella Sydney team!

GGuest UserThe standard pillows were uncomfortable so we took advantage of the ‘pillow menu’ option and had the best sleep on our second night! Thank you W for having this option for guests.
The complimentary options are good and the pool facilities are excellent. Loved it!

小小K宝宝The outdoor swimming pool is stunning. Breakfast buffet also offered a wide variety of selections.
However, the service of pool is a bit behind, like some employees skived by hiding behind the bar table or lying down.
AAnonymous UserThis unit is over-priced. We stayed in a double unit, the two of us, which is better suited to either 2 couples or 2 adults and 2 kids which would justify the price. Upstairs is almost a carbon copy of downstairs in that both have almost full kitchens (no ovens), excellent reverse cycle air conditioning, TV's etc. Other than a very old, very off carton of milk left in the fridge the unit was exceptionally clean.
Upon arriving, we were asked to pay which we had already done when booking. Beware no refunds once booked although this didn't apply in our case. Otherwise, the staff were friendly and helpful.
Had to ask for toilet paper and purchase milk as only two small milk thimbles in fridge. Expected to wash up, dry and put away dishes and utensils before leaving and remove all garbage. We usually do this anyway but I thought it was quite an ask to be expected at those prices. It's post-Covid so I am wondering if lack of staff is the reason for this and perhaps this may change in the future.
No buffet or restaurant on site. No room service. Don't expect any meals. No foxtel as advertised. At least we couldn't get it but they did have Netflix provided. We took our chromecast with us, thank goodness!
The pool is much smaller than it looks in the pictures. Maybe 25 metres? Also, in the afternoon a lot of it is shaded. It's not heated so it's pretty chilly even in late November.
The beach is gorgeous but the room we had didn't have views and the units are in the street behind the main shops so whilst very close to the beach (a mere two minutes) it isn't overlooking the beach. Also, very tight carpark if you have a larger car.
I would recommend the family unit or double unit for 3 to 4 people. Otherwise stick to a single unit. I probably would not return unless with another couple because there are nicer places with more amenities that don't expect you to do the housework at the same or even better prices.
SSAM局1. The hotel is in a very good location, convenient for taking the subway, shopping or eating.
2. The room is clean and comfortable, with a complete gym and swimming pool sauna.
3. The receptionist is very professional and friendly. I particularly like the Korean receptionist (Jooeun). She is cute! I wish I could be friends with her, and I regret not asking to take a photo with her.

XXiamaonvFacilities: The room is fully equipped with washing machine, dryer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, battery stove, cooking utensils are all equipped according to the standard of 3 people, the hangers in the closet cannot be taken out and placed elsewhere, they are fixed in the closet
Hygiene: The room is clean, tidy and bright, equipped with washing powder/laundry liquid, detergent, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, lotion
Environment: The surrounding environment of the hotel is well-equipped, the bus station is right at the door, and the train station to the airport is separated from the hotel by a building. In reality, it is much more convenient than the hotel introduction, which is beyond expectations...
Service: If you stay for many days, you need to make an appointment in advance to arrange the waiter to clean the room. We buy things in the supermarket and cook in the hotel every night, so we can clean it up by ourselves! Every night after shopping, we will replenish some washing supplies at the front desk before returning to the room!
Tips 👉🏻 For a king-size bed room, you can ask to disassemble it into 2 single beds with 2 sets of bedding!

IIsailovicA bit disappointed that Trip.com didn’t give you the option to claim NSW vouchers.
Landmark Resort provide excellent customer service, best I had ever experienced. Sam was amazing on our arrival and very helpful. Floors were sticky from soap residue, she came up within 10 minutes to wipe over tiles with clean water. Later that evening, she came up again to help me with the turning on the stove.
Apartment was immaculate and well designed for a small 1 bedroom. Comfortable and modern. Lots of double PowerPoints to plug in your own devices. Beautiful view off the balcony. Excellent fast wifi. Great pool and games room (air hockey with ability to team up with a partner - 4 players, plus other games).
Negatives:
1. Kitchen - No oven. Could add scissors, wooden spoon and smaller sized pan. Strange to have a huge fry pan to cook for 2 people, and on a small stove top. Also would recommend replacing Tefal type plans as they can become a health hazard when old.
Bathroom - Shower head could do with an upgrade to handheld as the fixed one is small, and only wets just below shoulders, plus splashes everywhere. We made good use of the spa bath. Square toilet seats aren’t comfortable.
Iron is very cheap and old. Dirt was coming out of the holes underneath and water kept spilling out of it.
