Beautiful property and great potential. Unfortunately our room was much smaller than the photos, had hair in the shower and a strong mildew smell. There was mold in the mini fridge that didn’t work. The AC and drying rack also didn’t work, unfortunately. We were a bit disappointed and tried to leave early but the terse concierge told us the only person who could refund us was “on vacation”. We went out to the lake for the day and came back late to find ourselves locked out with our luggage still inside (though still unwilling to refund us). Very odd experience. One of the waitresses at breakfast was very nice though!

This is our second stay at this hotel.
We get along very well.
Very kind staff, fantastic location, breakfast with quality products.
Too bad the pool isn't heated.

A hidden gem near Milan
A nice room with all needed amenities. A wonderful restaurant in the garden by the hotel. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. The pool and adjacent restaurant are a must. My family and I loved this place…

The castello resort is a very special place, it is spacious in it’s grounds and buildings but it also has the particular feeling of a boutique hotel. We stayed for five days to visit family nearby and the Lago Maggiore area. We will definitely be back!

This is a beautiful property near Lake Maggiore. We stayed for five days visiting the area and some family.

Excellent hotel with beautiful nature and service
My second stay at this wonderfull hotel. Very frendly and nice staff. Nature around this hotel is very beautiful. Breakfast is excellent. Specially recommend to visit the Dan Garden Lounge close to the castle.
