Lovely hotel that didn't disappoint! Our room was clean and comfy, and the staff were warm and friendly. Location was exceptional - within walking distance to attractions and very near the tram stop as well. Perfect base for our time in Istanbul!

Service terrible. Breakfast terrible.
Absolutely unacceptable: They forgot to return my deposit at checkout. Upon several requests, they asked me to send a friend/ relative to the hotel to pick up the deposit. I told them I was a tourist and had no friends or relatives in Istanbul! I asked them to send the money to my credit card but they said they couldn’t do that, which is unbelievable. They finally agreed to settle but only in Turkish lira instead of the original euro I gave them. That means I would have to lose in exchange rate and also handling fee. That is really bad.

The impression of the hotel is mixed... I can say one thing, the Turks are in their element. I booked a special deluxe room from 01.05 to 04.05. Upon arrival, we were placed in a standard room, and all our questions were answered that this was the room we had booked. I showed them a photo in the trip, and they pretended not to understand anything. And then they stopped paying attention to me altogether. We lost about 15 thousand rubles in three nights. The hotel itself is clean, bed linen and towels were changed every day. The breakfast is not of a five-star hotel (I have traveled a lot and can compare). Every night, the tram tracks were being repaired under our windows, so we were unable to get a good night's sleep. If you are planning a trip in the coming days, pay attention to this.
