Suitable for families or friends, the room can accommodate 4 people, 2 bunk beds, the room is much larger than ordinary Japanese hotels, which is great. Maybe it is due to the characteristics of Japanese building materials, the sound insulation is not good, you can hear the people walking upstairs, which is a bit of a pity. Although it is not in the central area of Kyoto, the transportation is convenient.

Very cozy place. Nice and clean, and fairly close to the Kyoto station. The staff(?) or maybe boss lady (?) at the reception is very friendly and helpful. Luggage storage is a bonus point, as the place we stayed beforehand ran out of storage capacity and we had to arrive early to this place, and to our surprise, the place did not only offer storage service but they also helped to transfer the luggages to the room we stay. Great place, friendly people, nice services :)

This is a B&B. Three or four days before check-in, the hotel asked Ctrip to call me. However, when I arrived in Japan, I had already pulled out my domestic mobile phone card, and Ctrip customer service left a message in the background. On the day of check-in, I opened Ctrip and saw the message, but I successfully got the door password and room password. I don’t have to have direct contact with the landlord, which I don’t mind. We booked a family room, with two 1.4-inch beds put together. It was no problem for our family of three. The only thing I need to complain about is that the distribution of sockets on the bedside table is unreasonable, which means there is no place for charging on the bedside table. This is not particularly convenient for travelers who need to charge after traveling. Tokyo actually has a problem too. Maybe all Japanese hotels are like this? The location is very quiet. You can walk to various attractions within walking distance. It's less than 2 kilometers away. If you don't want to walk, you can take the bus to Gion. However, it takes 10 minutes to walk from the B&B to the bus station. Take the 207 bus. . Overall it was a good stay experience.

Loved the room K21. Short walk from the Gojo station, very nice and traditional room with tatami, we always bought our breakfast from the nearby store and enjoyed our breakfast in the room ( with a nice little table next to the window) before we headed out. In general we loved it!
Even tho we were sharing the bathroom but we barely saw anyone else, there were only 4 rooms in the house we stayed. Other guests were polite and kept quiet during the stay, grateful for that!

On the edge of Zhienyuan, in front of the door is Shirakawa, Yangliu Yiyi, a single wide stone bridge on the left, a small bridge on the right, and a hydrophilic platform on the opposite side. People passing by will not help but sit down, see, rest. Especially quiet and peaceful. We went back and forth countless times on the stone bridge and took a lot of beautiful photos. The first floor of the squatter house is a big bed room with a washing machine with a drying machine in the kitchen bathroom shower room. The second floor is a living room and a twin room. The decoration is very new and very comfortable and clean. Two shortcomings, 1. There are no tables and chairs on the first floor. I don’t know why I don’t put tables and chairs on the kitchen side but design a large closet for hanging clothes. Eat something or stand or end upstairs; 2. There is no bathroom upstairs, and you have to run down the toilet in the middle of the night. However, the flaws are not concealed, I still like this house very much, saying that I must experience the squatters when I come to Kyoto, then here. In addition, this is to send an email to you to pay the tax paid by the Japanese to the store first, and the online check-in person's information is registered and notified to the other party before sending the check-in password. I got it late and found it one day in advance. After finishing the next day (the day of check-in), I have not received the email. I can't contact the store, and Trip.com can't contact! But fortunately, in the end, Trip.com still contacted me. It was a false alarm. People arrived at the door, but a bunch of luggage could not get in. This is the first time I encountered it. So remember to check the store's message early and deal with these things early.

GGuest UserI really like it here. I just mixed it with mana baba in a few minutes. The only thing I don’t like in Japan is that it’s too quiet to talk, but when I get here, it’s like to go to home. You can open the conversation and open the chat. Dad likes to mix various teas for us to drink. Mom's breakfast was very rich. Unlike other places, we played outside for a day. As soon as we got home, we liked to sit in the living room and chat. I liked it very much. Kyoto will come to stay later

GGuest UserAfter getting off the bus, walk uphill and you can see the hotel sign along the street. It is easy to find. There is a convenience store near the station, which is very convenient. I arrived in the morning of the first day and could not check in. The boss invited me to have breakfast before I checked in. When I came back to check in at night, the lady was also very enthusiastic and told me that I had upgraded the room. I didn't need to move the room for three days. It was very considerate. As long as they were in the public area, the boss chatted with the guests every day, cared about how their day went, and gave suggestions if the guests needed anything. I went there during the maple leaf season, and the several spots recommended by the boss were great. In addition to breakfast, the boss also prepared snacks and even warm baby that can be used at any time, which is very considerate. The grilled fish breakfast at the boss's house is freshly grilled, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and it is delicious. I recommend it. One day when I came back, I met a little sister who dropped her bag on the bus. She was very anxious. The front desk lady actively helped to call the bus company. The boss and the boss's wife rushed to the store as soon as they knew about it. Finally, the bus company said that they had found it and asked the little sister to pick it up. The boss and the boss's wife drove the little sister to pick it up. Great praise! This kind of shop is very safe to live in. I also ate the soup that the boss cooks once a year, which is delicious! The staff inside are also very enthusiastic and friendly. They are willing to help when there are difficulties. I will go there again if I have the chance.

Environment: It is very convenient to take a bus to the scenic spots. The nearest station: Kawaramachi Street and Marutamachi Street are about a one-minute walk away. GGuest UserFirst evaluation! Don't hesitate to live in real Japanese tatami and feel Japanese life. And the price is really cheap. A very perfect experience, making people feel at home. Comfortable, comfortable and warm. Although not big, there are surprises everywhere, and the small details reflect the boss's taste and care. You don't have to worry about staying here because there is a boss. The boss is an enthusiastic long-haired man. Every day, I will try my best to talk about some topics, and I feel very kind to be like my big brother. Although the soundproofing is not good, the Japanese-style room has no way, but everyone is very quiet and has no influence. It is very close to the Ginkakuji Temple, and it is very convenient to take public transportation to other attractions. I really hope that I can live here for a long time. Full of memories. Thank you my friend
GGuest UserOne may struggke to find the entrance since it is ”hidden” between 2 buildings, but the inside buildings (both, one is exclusive for women and the other is mixed) is carefully kept. The lounge has big tables with sockets to charge your devices. Also, access to a pseudo-kitchen is provided, where you can prepare instant coffee, tea,...
The staff will kindly break down to you everything you need to know about your room and provide you a code to enter your room.

GGuest UserA shop that I really like. Near Qingshui Temple, it is very convenient to go to the sights. Although small but very complete and clean, in addition to the need to prepare towels, other facilities are available. I will stay here in Kyoto later. The boss and the younger brother at the front desk are also very fun. I like it very much.

MMiliaushaIt was so enjoyable to stay here. There is a traditional rekan with all attributes to feel really Japanese culture.
The hotel is located in quite area, around 15 minutes from Kyoto station. The administration explained all the rules that you should know.
It has very thin walls so it’s possible to hear the neighbors, but for one night it was pretty ok.
There is shower, toilet and sink in the room. Also teapot, teabags and hair dryer, so it’s very comfortable to live here.
I appreciate to stay in such a hotel, thanks for great experience.

GGeoffrey Eu GhimThe locatuon is 1 km from the train station. Lots of food but must walk. Cannot use the facilities like fridge, cooking etc. The lady is friendly but treat me like teaching a child and very fussy. As i used the place just to sleep, i have no complains.
